Today is the 9th of Febuary and it is the biggest snow that I have ever seen in my life. Before the roads could get to bad yesterday me, Meg, and our friends Jared and Alex devised a plan to have a play day in the snow! After a super fun battle of snow balls, the four of us retired to the indoors to spend the rest of our play day watching movies, eating good food, making bad jokes, and having fun with the wii! What a day!!! :D Consequently, the roads did eventually get to bad for me to go home. YAY!!! Therefore, Meg & Kel are now snowed in TOGETHER!!!!! This is the best snow day EVER! XD Today around 11 am we set out through the snow to take lots of pretty pictures and to play with our new friend, Dug the dog. It was lots of fun! Especially the part where I tripped down the hill and was attacked by Dug. What an adventure! So from snow balls, to snow angels, and from good food to good times, this big snow has been a good adventure! From the other side of the snow drift this is Spock(aka Kel) signing out!

its cold. i have a cold. but the plus side to it being cold and having a cold is that if you go outside and play in the snow: your snot freezes so your nose wont run anymore! :) okay, so after failed sledding attempts, snowball fights, being up to your knees in the cold white stuff, and rolling down the hill with kel, i'm not snowed in: im snowed out. :p I plan on spending most of the rest of my time indoors. i had a blast with my family and friends yesterday. i didn't think that i was gonna be doing anything during the snow day, but thats what i get for thinking. i didn't realize it until today, how romantic snow is. (not "romantic" in the "sleepless in seattle" or "the titanic" sort of way, but more of the literary term for romantic. :D all perfect and stuff.) its so calming and peaceful and quiet and inspires so much thought in me. i think the heaviness of the snow just absorbs all the sound. its neat. i've enjoyed being snowed in and spending yesterday with my friends, it was a unique snow day and i've never had one like it before. being cold but having so much fun seemed so impossible. but i guess nothing is impossible. this is meggo sayin' don't freeze your nose off.
how to spend your snow day (without going crazy.) by meg and kel. :)
- snowball fights (even if you're like kel and can't throw)
- movie marathons
- blog! :)
- snow wrestling (imagine mud wrestling only colder and whiter)
- wii (or any video game) tournaments
- write
- sleep
- roll down a hill (be sure there's not a pond or a stream at the bottom... that would be bad.)
- sled!
- text Jared until your thumbs fall off... (...kel... ;])
- experiment with baking/cooking
- have a bonfire
- catch your jeans on fire at said bonfire!
- listen to a blind cat meow, lost in the snow... (kel...)
- take lots and lots of pictures
- don't get trampled by horses (or cattle, or moose, or dogs, or a herd of wildebeest, or aliens) while attempting to sled
- drink coffee (with extra sugar) and read a book
- visit neighbors on foot
- stay warm!
